About This Experience
Descend into a naturally-formed glacier ice cave and stand surrounded by walls of ancient, electric-blue ice. Led by a specialist glacier guide with all safety gear provided. Located in the Vatnajökull area, about 76 km from the festival — round-trip transfer (about 1 hour each way) from the Viking Café is included. Activity ~2.5 hours; allow around 4.5 hours in total.
What to bring
Bring a warm jacket, a warm hat and gloves. Best to wear hiking boots or shoes with a hard, waterproof sole.
